16-Year-Old Arrives Home to Find Burglary, Police Say
Electronics and cameras were bypassed in the burglary, police say.

Burglary—900 block of Palmers Mill Road in Broomall between 7:55 a.m. and 2:58 p.m. on April 1. A 16-year-old girl came home and found a side door window broken and as she entered the house it became apparent that someone had forced entry into the home, according to the report. In the kitchen area, she found a few drawers open and in a first-floor bedroom there were several items on the floor, according to the report.

A few jewelry boxes were also on the bed and emptied out and several checkbooks and other items were found on the floor, according to the report. The girl called police and her mother soon arrived at the house as well, according to the report. There were electronics, cameras, and other items out in the open that were bypassed and the upstairs bedrooms were not entered, according to the report.
