2 Fatal Crashes In Delco In Less Than 24 Hours

A man was killed a block from home in a crash, then a motorcyclist was killed later in the day.

Two fatal car crashes were reported in less than 24 hours in Delaware County on Tuesday.

A Haverford man was killed in a crash in Upper Darby Tuesday morning, just a block and a half from his home on North Beldfield Avenue, according to the Delaware County Times.

The victim, 69-year-old David Powers, died at the scene, Upper Darby Police told the publication. The crash is under investigation and police are seeking witnesses.

The other driver, Donald Brake, 31, was uninjured.

Then, Tuesday night, motorcyclist was also killed in another crash in Upper Darby.

Police there confirmed the fatalities on Twitter, asking residents to obey traffic laws.
