PGA Championship Player Field Revealed: See Who's Coming To Newtown Square
Household names and top-ranked golfers are among more than 150 set to compete in the Philly suburbs next week.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A field of more than 150 players has been announced for next week's PGA Championship, which will bring some of golf's biggest names to Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square.
The 2026 PGA Championship takes place May 11-17. After three days of practice rounds, competition will run from Thursday through Sunday that week. It is expected to draw more than 200,000 people to the area.

The Championship field, announced Tuesday, includes 15 PGA champions, 29 major winners and 20 PGA of America Golf Professionals.
Six-time major winner Phil Mickelson, who left the PGA Tour for the Saudi-backed LIV Golf tour, is listed in the PGA Championship field.

Tiger Woods will not participate as he continues rehab treatment following a crash and DUI charge.
Braden Shattuck, of Aston, will compete in his third PGA Championship after last finishing a stroke under par in 2024. Shattuck is the reigning Philadelphia PGA Champion.
The field also includes top-ranked golfers such as defending PGA Champion Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, who recently won the Masters.
There are currently 154 players in the field, with two spots being held for the winners of the Myrtle Beach Classic and Truist Championship.
