46th Annual Flea Market Set For Sept 26 In Marple Township

The annual market will benefit the Hero Scholarship Fund of Marple Twp., which supports families of fallen first responders in the area.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — The 46th Annual Flea Market Sale benefiting the Hero Scholarship Fund of Marple Township is all set for Sept. 26.

The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26 on the grounds of the Delaware County Community College, located at Route 252 and Media Line Road, in Marple Township.

Vendors can still sign up to participate in the flea market.

Each vendor space costs $40 with advance registration.

Half of that fee goes towards a donation to the Hero Scholarship Fund.

If vendor spaces are not sold out on the day of the market, each vendor space will cost $50, with $30 of that going towards a donation to the Hero Scholarship Fund.

Vendor spaces are the size of three parking stalls.

Vendor spaces will be limited to 300.

Completed vendor applications should be submitted to Marple Township Police Department, 1001 Sussex Blvd, Broomall, PA 19008, Attention: Sergeant Peter Baylor.

Vendor set up begins at 6 a.m. and clean up and tear down is 4 p.m. All vendors will use the Media Line Road entrance.

There is no rain date for this year's event.

The Hero Scholarship Fund of Marple Township provides for the surviving spouse and children of police officers, firefighters, and ambulance corps personnel killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.
