American Legion Post 805's annual Memorial Day parade

The American Legion Post 805 will host their annual Memorial Day

Parade on Monday, May 26th, 2014 at 10:00 AM. 

The event will take place starting at Malin Road and West Chester Pike

in Broomall, PA. The parade will head East,  in the Eastboud

Lane
, on West Chester Pike proceeding to the American Legion Post 805

for a Memorial Day Ceremony. (Note, that in the past, the parade headed East in

the Westbound Lane.)


The parade will feature members from the American Legion Post 805, VFW

7390, and the Marine Corps League Detachment 741.


Our Parade Marshall, Sten Dalstrom, will also participate along with

this year’s Poppy Queen, Madison McNichols. 

In addition, the Marple Newtown High School Band, Paxon Hollow Middle

School Band, Boy Scouts, Public Officials, Fire Companies, and Ambulance Corps

from Broomall and Newtown Square will also participate to honor our Veterans.

Everyone is encouraged to watch the parade pass and attend the

Memorial Day Ceremony to remember the Veterans that we have lost.

A second ceremony, hosted by VFW Post 7390, will take place 12:00 noon

at Veterans Memorial Park on Lawrence Road in Broomall.
