Delaware County Hosting Summit on Teen Behavior
District Attorney Jack Whelan and anti-drug expert Dr. Kevin Sabet are among the scheduled speakers.
Delaware County plans to host a summit on risky teen behaviors, including alcohol and drug use.
The summit will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Springfield Country Club, 400 W. Sproul Road in Springfield.
The summit will present and review information gathered in the 2013 Pennsylvania Youth Survey for Delaware County. Among the scheduled speakers are Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan and national expert Dr. Kevin Sabet, a champion of the anti-drug movement and director of the Drug Policy Institute at the University of Florida.

The summit will touch on hunger and homelessness; depression and suicide; gambling; DUI and other risky driving behaviors; bullying and Internet safety; and other anti-social behaviors, the county says.
