Delco Homicide Suspect Taken Into Custody Monday: Police
Clifton Heights Borough Police said the man wanted for a deadly shooting last week is now in custody on homicide and related crimes.

CLIFTON HEIGHTS BOROUGH, PA — Police in Clifton Heights Borough said a man wanted for a killing last week is in custody.
According to police, Birchett Lamont King, 25, is now in police custody.
King was wanted for homicide in connection with a Thursday shooting, police said last week.

Police said the fatal shooting occurred at about 4:42 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of East Baltimore Avenue.
The victim, a Philadelphia man, was shot several times.

Police Friday identified King as the gunman, saying he is considered armed and dangerous.
On Monday, Clifton Heights Police said he was in custody.
Authorities in Upper Darby believe a shooting that killed one person and hurt three others Monday is connected to Thursday's shooting, saying Monday's shooting was retaliation for last week's shooting.
Court record for King were not immediately available.
