Delco I-95 Shooting Suspect Expected To Turn Self In
Pennsylvania State Police said they expect Zion Blyden to turn himself in connection with a shooting that occurred on Interstate 95 Sept 12.
CHESTER CITY, PA — Pennsylvania State Police said a man accused of shooting at a vehicle, striking a passenger, on Interstate 95 in Delaware County will likely turn himself in to authorities Wednesday.
Police said Zion Blyden, 21, is expected to turn himself in at the Pennsylvania State Police Media station at about 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Blyden is accused of a shooting on Sept. 12 in the area of Highland Avenue at I-95 northbound in Chester City. He is wanted for attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault and, recklessly endangering another person.

Police said Blyden shot at the victim's vehicle in Chester, then followed the victims on Interstate 95 to the Broad Street exit.
He is accused of shooting a second time, striking a 20-year-old man who was a passenger in the chest and neck, police said.

The victims eventually made it to the IKEA store on Columbus Boulevard in Philadelphia where they called 911.
Police said Blyden found the victim's vehicle, saw he shot the passenger, then left the area.
The man who was shot is being treated at Jefferson Hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
Police said Blyden should be considered armed and dangerous.
