Delco Man Charged With DUI After Hitting St Joe's Student
The 20-year-old student was listed in critical condition as of Thursday morning after she was struck crossing City Avenue Wednesday night.

A Delaware County man who struck and seriously injured a 20-year-old female St. Joseph's University Student on City Avenue Wednesday, Dec. 13 is facing DUI, assault by vehicle, and related charges, court record show.
Malchi-Jah J. Giddings, 42, of Lansdowne, has been charged with DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and driving with a suspended license.
Giddings was released after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail at his Dec. 14 preliminary arraignment in a Philadelphia Court.

The student was struck while crossing City Avenue near Lapsley Lane Wednesday at about 6:30 p.m University officials said she was in the crosswalk when she was struck.
She was taken to Lankenau Medical Center where she was in critical condition as of Thursday morning.

Police also found what they believed to be marijuana in the Giddings's vehicle.
