A woman has died after her vehicle collided with a SEPTA train in Delaware County Monday morning.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The driver of a vehicle involved in a crash with a SEPTA train has died, according to a new report.

CBS Philadelphia reports the driver of an SUV that collided with a Media/Elwyn line SEPTA train died Tuesday.

The crash occurred at Union Avenue in Lansdowne at about 9 a.m. Monday, SEPTA said.

According to the Delaware County the driver tried to get around the crossing gate as two trains were passing through.

Video footage showed the vehicle being pushed by an inbound train about 500 feet before it came to a rest, CBS reports.

According to SEPTA, no train passengers were hurt in the incident.
