Drug Take Back Event Saturday In Marple Township

Do you have unwanted medications you need to safely dispose of?

A drug take back event will be held in Marple Township on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can drop off unwanted medications at several locations, including the Giant supermarket on Springfield Road.

The local event is part of the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, which aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications, according to the DEA.
