Funeral Details Set For Newtown Police Sgt Clint Cunningham
Sgt. Clinton Cunningham collapsed while exercising off duty Monday and sadly died from a brain hemorrhage after being rushed to a hospital.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA – Funeral arrangements have been set for Newtown Police Sgt. Clinton Cunningham, who tragically died at 37 from a brain hemorrhage that he suffered on March 19 while exercising when he was off duty.
Services will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 24 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square.
A mass will be held at noon with interment to follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 South Sproul Road in Springfield.

Cunningham is survived by four young children and his wife Kelly. A fundraiser has been launched to help assist the family in their trying time.

As of Wednesday, March 21, nearly $90,000 has been raised for the family.
Cunningham collapsed while working out at a local gym Monday and was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital where he later died from the hemorrhage.
He was a five-year member of the Newtown Township force and previously served with the Philadelphia Police Department for nearly 10 years.
Cunningham was recently voted by his colleagues as Newtown Township's 2018 Walt Wolff Award recipient for Officer of the Year.
