GIANT Donating Turkeys To Delco Food Banks
As the holiday season nears, GIANT Food Stores is giving nearly 10,000 turkeys to food banks in PA, including some in Delaware County.

GIANT Food Stores are donating nearly 10,000 turkeys to food banks across Pennsylvania, including some in Delaware County, to help feed those in need this Thanksgiving.
An annual tradition for GIANT, the 2018 turkey donation comes as the company continues its year-long 95th anniversary celebration, centered around giving back to its community partners.
Turkeys will go to the Family & Community Service of Delaware County and Cityteam Chester food banks, GIANT said.

"Throughout our 95-year history, GIANT has been a passionate supporter of the fight against hunger, and every day we are inspired by the dedication and compassion our food bank partners display in this ongoing fight," said Nicholas Bertram, president, GIANT Food Stores. "We are honored to partner with them and do our part to help ensure all families are able to gather around the table to enjoy a warm holiday meal."
GIANT is giving turkey to 18 other Pennsylvania food banks this season, as well.
