Lanes Closing On West Chester Pike Next Week In Newtown Township

Work on a local safety improvement project will force lane closures in both directions on West Chester Pike next week.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A lane on West Chester Pike will close next week due to more work related to a local safety improvement project, PennDOT said.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday next week, a lane closure will impact traffic on a portion of West Chester Pike in Newtown Township.

Lanes will close in both directions.

The affected portion of West Chester Pike is between Boot Road and Bryn Mawr Avenue.

Additionally, traffic will be controlled by flagging on West Chester Pike/Route 3 in both directions at the Newtown Square Shopping Center entrance next week.
