If you're missing a gold band — or know someone who is — we want to hear from you.
Patch and T-Mobile recently partnered on Good Deeds, Great Communities, a nationwide initiative highlighting acts of kindness across the country. Since then, readers have shared stories ranging from life-saving moments to small, thoughtful gestures that brighten someone’s day.
One of those readers is Michele, a good Samaritan and self-described “die-hard romantic” who hopes to reunite a found gold wedding band with its owner. Here’s what Michele submitted through our Good Deeds form:
Found: Gold wedding band
When: January 28, 2026
Where: Acme parking lot between Acme and Michael’s (3590 W Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073)
From Michele: Hi there Patch! My name is Michele and I desperately need your help. When shopping in the Acme, in Newtown Square just after the snow, I found what I believe is a man’s gold wedding band. It was catching the sun and shining, so I bent over to see what it was — and sure enough it was gold. Being a die-hard romantic, I thought it would be so easy to find the owner — surely they must be looking for it? I called Acme and left my contact information, then went to the post office, Michael’s and Hallmark to inquire if anyone was looking for it. No luck. I posted [a few places online] — still no luck. The wedding ring has engraving as well as a few dents — so I know it was well loved … won’t you please help me find the owner?
If you believe this may be your ring, or you know who it belongs to, please fill out this form with your name, contact information and the identifying initials engraved on the band. Submissions that include matching details will be shared with the finder to help coordinate a return.
