Michael Damroth, 87, of Newtown Square

Michael was a World War II veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Elizabeth C. Stanton. After the war, he attended Philadelphia Military College, graduating with a degree in industrial engineering. He worked for Merck Pharmaceutical as a marketing research vice president. Caroline Ann DiPasqua, of Newtown Square

Caroline embarked on a quilting career and began teaching both in the classroom and at home. She enjoyed quilting so much that she started a business called Victoria's Hope Chest, where she created, displayed and sold custom quilts from 1983-1991. She was also the founding member and President of the Main Line Quilters and was also involved as a member of Calico Cutters. [Legacy.com/Delco Times]
