On Saturday, May 31, Marine Corps League Detachments headquartered in Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia Counties held their annual spring pistol match. The match was held at the Delaware County Field and Stream Association range in Brookhaven. The detachments participating were the General Smedley D. Butler Detachment which meets in Newtown Square, the Upper Darby Detachment which meets in Secane , the Delaware County Detachment which meets in Upland, the Tun Tavern Detachment which meets in Philadelphia, and the Chester County Detachment which meets in Downingtown. The participants were limited to using military pistols.
