Marple Getting $2M In Water Service Improvements

The major water main replacement project is affecting several roads in the township and it is expected to be completed in late 2018.

MARPLE, PA – Aqua Pennsylvania announced that $14.1 million in infrastructure improvement projects are currently underway in Delaware County, and Marple Township is getting a cut of the improvement.

The projects will increase service reliability, reduce the potential for discolored water and improve firefighting capabilities in the area.

In Marple, crews are working on a $2 million project to install 9,030 feet of 6-inch and 8-inch ductile iron mains to replace the existing cast iron mains.
