The MNSD Gala of the Arts will be held at the Marple Newtown Performing Arts Center on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 7:00 pm, Light Dinner at 5:30.
The Gala of the Arts incorporates artwork and musical performances from Culbertson, Loomis, Russell, Worrall Elementary Schools, Paxon Hollow Middle School and Marple Newtown High School. The doors open at 5:30 for patrons to enjoy dinner and a stroll through the art exhibition followed by a variety of musical performances from each of our fine schools
The Annual Arts Gala benefits the Tiger Foundation which seeks to foster educational, technical and cultural opportunities that will enhance excellence in public education in the Marple Newtown School District. Last year the Arts Gala raised over $9,000 giving grants to the following schools:
