Marple Newtown Teachers Thank MNSD Community: Letter
"Without whose help we could not provide the quality education that we do," writes Marple Newtown Education Association Pres Doug Killough.

As school districts prepare to celebrate American Education Week during the week of November 12, the members of the Marple Newtown Education Association (MNEA) would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents and other members of the Marple Newtown community, without whose help we could not provide the quality education that we do. We recognize that it takes a group effort to support our students by providing for their physical, financial, and emotional needs that enable them to come to school ready to learn. So whether your contribution is volunteering in a classroom or on a field trip; providing an opportunity for a student to shadow you as part of our Junior Initiative or Senior Project; coaching our students in community sports or clubs; or providing service projects through a community group or religious organization, the members of the MNEA thank you for all you do to educate our students. MNEA also thanks you for teaching your child the importance of getting a good education, ensuring that they get their homework done, and ensuring that they go to bed at a reasonable time on a school night. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you and wish you all a Happy American Education Week.
Appreciatively,
