Newtown Square Dunkin' Donuts Robbed At Knifepoint Thursday

Police said the suspect is a black man in his mid 50s who was between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A Newtown Square Dunkin' Donuts was robbed at knifepoint early Thursday morning and police are asking for help finding the robber.

According to Police, the robbery occurred at about 5:35 a.m. at the store located at 300 Munger Lane in Newtown Square.

A man wearing dark clothes, gloves, and a scarf over his face came into the store armed with a knife and demanded money from the cash registers, police said.

Police did not say how much money was taken in the robbery.

The suspect was described as a black man in his mid 50s with a heavy build and stood 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Anyone who has information on the robbery is asked to call Det. William Moor at (610) 356-0602 or call 911 and ask for a Newtown Township Police officer.
