The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Thursday announced that repair and resurfacing work has been completed on 4 miles of Route 252 (Leopard Road/Darby Paoli Road/Bear Hill Road) in Chester County with funding from the state’s new transportation plan.
Over the past month, PennDOT’s contractor milled and paved Route 252’s (Darby Paoli Road/Leopard Road/Bear Hill Road) deteriorated pavement from White Horse Road (Delaware County line) to just north of Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Easttown and Tredyffrin townships, Chester County. Crews also repaired and resurfaced Newark Road at the Baltimore Pike intersection in New Garden Township, Chester County. Construction to improve both sections was completed about a month ahead of schedule.
