Registration Open for Marple Township Police Academy
The 10-week program gives residents a glimpse inside the police department.

Marple Police are currently accepting applications for its Citizens Police Academy.
The Citizens Police Academy will run for ten weeks beginning in September 2. Classes will run each Tuesdayevening for two hours.

Topics will include the legal system, patrol procedures, criminal investigations, communications, and community policing.
The program is available to those interested who are age 21 or older. Class size will be limited to 12 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Priority will be given to residents of and business owners in Marple Township. A criminal records check will be required for anyone interested in participating.
