Man Injured After SEPTA Train Collides With Car
Service on the Media/Elwyn Regional Rail Line was suspended for several hours Sunday due to a crash near Wallingford Station.

A train and a car collided Sunday afternoon near Wallingford Station on SEPTA’s Media/Elwyn line, according to media reports.
The driver of the car, an elderly man, was injured in the crash, MyFoxPhilly.com reported.
Service was suspended on the Media/Elwyn Regional Rail Line for several hours Sunday because of the accident, which happened around 3 p.m. where the tracks cross Brookhaven Road, NBC10 said.

A man was trapped in his vehicle following the crash and it took emergency responders 20 minutes to free him from the car, according to several reports. He was transported to Crozer Chester Medical Center, where he was in serious condition Sunday night, NBC10 said.
There were 20 people on the train at the time of the crash and one person suffered a neck injury, MyFoxPhilly.com reported.
