Sproul Road to be Closed for Water Main Replacement

Sproul Road will be closed from Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:

Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict weekday travel on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Mary Lane and Lewis Road in Marple Township, Delaware County, on Monday, June 9 through Friday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)  announced Tuesday. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The construction schedule is dependent on the weather.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
