Turnpike Commission Warns About E-Z Pass Phishing Scam

E-Z Pass and the Pennsylvania Turnpike are warning customers about an e-mail phishing scam.

Customers have reported receiving e-mails such as the one above, claiming to be from E-Z Pass and alleging that the recipient owes money for unpaid tolls. The e-mails include a link, allegedly to download an invoice.

E-Z Pass recommends customers not click on the link, and in fact suggests that customers not open the e-mail at all.

E-Z Pass says customers should call 877-736-6727 if they have any questions about their accounts or the validity of communications from E-Z Pass.
