Myers & Sons sold (butlereagle.com) — Mars Area families should know that the district has signed a new transportation agreement with Krise Transportation, the company that bought longtime bus provider A.J. Myers & Sons. Butler Area School District approved a similar eight-year deal, and officials say most current drivers will stay on while Krise’s larger recruiting and training operation is expected to strengthen service.
   

• Moniteau's Maddy Eury, Slippery Rock's Lexi Caldwell reach volleyball milestones: Roundup (butlereagle.com) — Mars athletes had a busy night, with the girls volleyball team topping West Allegheny behind a huge all-around performance from setter Gabi Weidemann, while the girls golf team beat Ambridge at Fox Run. Mars boys soccer fell 2-0 to Plum, but the roundup also highlights strong efforts from nearby schools in volleyball, soccer, cross country, tennis, and golf.
