$92K In Verizon Wiring Stolen From Delco Neighborhood: Police

About 2K feet of Verizon copper wire between several homes was stolen, authorities said.

THORNBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Two-thousand feet of Verizon cooper wire was stolen in a Delaware County residential neighborhood, authorities said.

State Police were dispatched just before 11 a.m. Friday for a Verizon copper-wire theft in Thornbury Township.

The wire was cut and stolen between 659 and 689 Cheyney Rd., police said. It is valued at $91,998.60.
