GLEN MILLS, PA — A longtime brunch spot in Delaware County has closed, but another has taken its place.

The Coffee Station has opened a third location, taking over for Meghan's Restaurant in Glen Mills.

Meghan's had operated in the location for 27 years, serving breakfast and lunch. In March, the owners announced that the property was up for sale.

"Nothing would make us happier than seeing a new family or ownership group carry on the Meghan's tradition here in Garnet Valley," the business's announcement said. "At the same time, we understand that someone may bring a new vision to the space, and we support that possibility as well."

Meghan's remained open while listed for sale.

The Coffee Station purchased the restaurant — a move announced last month by realtor John Port, of Long & Foster Real Estate.

On Sunday, The Coffee Station announced that the new Glen Mills location (1117 Smithbridge Rd.) has opened its outdoor patio.

Founded in 1983, The Coffee Station started as a small doughnut and coffee shop next to Morton station, according to its website. It later moved across the lot to the former PNC Bank.

Since then, The Coffee Station became a full breakfast and dinner restaurant and opened a second location in Garnet Valley.
