Delco To Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony On 25th Anniversary Of The Attacks (patch.com) — Residents in and around Media are invited to Delaware County's 25th anniversary 9/11 Day of Remembrance ceremony at Rose Tree Park's Law Enforcement Memorial on Friday at 11 a.m. The public event will honor nearly 3,000 victims, remember Delco's losses, and pay tribute to fallen and active first responders, military members, and veterans, with county and state officials scheduled to speak.
2. 5 People From 3 States Defrauded An Elderly Delco Resident Of Nearly $60K: Police (patch.com) — Police say an elderly Nether Providence resident was defrauded of nearly $60,000 through a series of withdrawals and a wire transfer at TD Bank branches in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. Five suspects from three states face theft and fraud charges, and one is also accused of separately stealing checks from Media Little League, despite having no prior connection to the organization.
