Today's riddle: What has a tail, but no body? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Suspect Search Puts 3 Delco Schools Under Safety Protocols: Police (patch.com) — Parents in the Media area may want to know that three Wallingford-Swarthmore schools near Strath Haven High briefly went into a lower-level "teach-in-place" protocol while Nether Providence police searched for a suspect tied to a stolen car. Authorities say there was no specific threat to students or staff, and normal activities resumed after video showed the suspect leaving the area in another vehicle.
• Delaware County restaurant inspections: Ice machine not clean machine (delcotimes.com) — Several Media restaurants, including La Padella, Off The Rail, and Pinocchio's Pizza, were cited for relatively minor food-safety issues like dirty equipment, expired sanitizer test kits, and improper storage. Most violations were corrected on the spot, and the county reports that other inspected establishments, including some nearby, received clean bills of health.
• This Springfield Couple's Terrain Wedding Featured 1,000 Paper Cranes and 80 Silk Lanterns (delco.today) — A Springfield couple with deep Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese roots quietly wed at the Media courthouse before hosting a vibrant, tradition-filled celebration at Terrain at Styer's in Glen Mills. Their ceremony featured 1,000 paper cranes, 80 silk lanterns, and decor that honored multiple Asian cultures while creating a whimsical, storybook setting just a short drive from Media.
