A native of Wallingford/Swarthmore, Dr. Marino is a fellow in the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the PA Academy of Audiology, has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association since 1976 and PA licensed since 1988.

In addition to comprehensive audiological and vestibular diagnostic evaluations, Dr. Marino specializes in the non-medical treatment and management of hearing loss and tinnitus. Her patients benefit from her expertise in wireless technology, which connects consumer wireless devices; such as cell phones, to hearing aids, and thus allows hands-free phone usage which is an important factor for drivers. Today’s hearing aids feature colorful designs and are nearly invisible, making them extra “cool” for those younger more hip patients. “I am especially focused on solving speech, communication and hearing issues for patients using creative solutions,” noted Marino.

Dr. Marino’s father was a local physician. Her first summer job while in college was that of a lab technician. This spiked her interest in sciences and ultimately audiology. Upon graduation from Nether Providence High School, and following an undergraduate B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from George Washington University, she earned her M.A. in Audiology from Northwestern University, did an externship at the Mayo Clinic and then studied at Salus University to earn her Doctor of Audiology in 2010. Dr. Marino has two adult children and enjoys hiking and nature.
