Cast Changes in 'Death on the 16th Fairway' at Media Theatre

Several actors make their Media Theatre debut alongside Media Theatre veterans John Baxter and Roger Ricker.

Due to scheduling conflicts the cast of "Death on the 16th Fairway" at The Media Theatre has undergone a few changes.

Walt Bender makes his Media Theatre debut as Tyler Flagg, the Ryan's Way Golf Course supervisor. He has been seen in productions at Montgomery Theatre and Dutch Country Players and has been performing for four decades.

Roger Ricker, veteran of over 85 productions, will take on the humorous role of Lt. Hazard. Media's own Ryan Leahy will now portray Bogey the Bartender at all performances.

Conceived and written by avid golfer and investment adviser Art Leahy, it is the story of Ryan’s Way Country Club, an exclusive golf, dining, and fitness facility. The show is a fictional creation based on Leahy’s behind-the-scenes experience as a golf club member and financial professional.

In the show, being produced during the US Open held at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore. a body is discovered at Fader’s Bog on the course’s signature hole, Hole 16.  The story takes off from that point, with interesting—and, at times, humorous—characters as everyone tries to figure out what has happened during the Ryan’s Way Country Club 50th Anniversary Celebration.
