Media Little League Celebrates Start of New Season

Media Little League (MLL) is off to a great start of the 2013 season.

To celebrate, they are planning a beef and beer on Saturday, April 20. MLL had some historic success last summer with the 9/10 year old district team winning the Mid-Atlantic championship in Rhode Island.

The beef and beer party started as a celebration for the 60th anniversary and has continued with much success. The fees at MLL are among the lowest of any sports in the community because of events like this.

There will be something for everyone at the event, music, food, raffles, auctions, or just hanging out. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at the complex or at the door at St. Mary Magdalen's parish hall on Providence Road in Upper Providence.
