My mom is the best! My mom is Dot Glanfield....the best mother I could ever ask for, a super Mother-In-Law to my husband, and the best "Mom-Mom" ever to my two children. I'm truly blessed to have such a wonderful Mom.
When my son "graduated" from Indian Lane, there was a big beach party in the gym. The theme was "The Boardwalk." I always remember that, as a child, one of my favorite memories of the boardwalk was getting the free fudge samples from the little lady with the tray out front of the fudge shop. I asked my mom if she would be our 'Fudge Lady' and walk around the gym with a tray of fudge handing out samples. My mom made the most delicious fudge from my grandmom's recipe and handed out samples all afternoon. She was a huge hit and lots of people even asked my mom where her shop was located! LOL! My mom even made an extra batch so her granddaughter could have some, too!
My mom is a star...always willing to help and give lots of love and encouragement at all times. I'm so proud to be her daughter. Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
