PECO Sponsors 'Mame' at Media Theatre

PECO continues its commitment to the performing arts.

As part of its ongoing support of the arts in the Philadelphia region, PECO is proud to be the Title Sponsor of “Mame,” part of the Broadway Series at The Media Theatre. This sponsorship of “Mame,” starring Andrea McArdle, continues PECO’s commitment to the performing arts at Delaware County’s only professional music theatre.

PECO previously supported The Media Theatre’s Broadway Series when it sponsored “Chicago” in 2011. The company recognizes The Media Theatre’s economic and cultural impact on Delaware County, and this sponsorship expresses PECO’s commitment to elevating the arts and culture in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties.

“Mame” tells the story of an eccentric socialite who learns she must care for her young nephew. The Jerry Herman score includes the songs “Bosom Buddies,” “It’s Today” and “Open a New Window.” Directed by Jesse Cline, “Mame” continues at The Media Theatre through May 19 with matinee and evening performances.
