Rose Tree Colts 'New' Field

The Rose Tree Colts celebrated its homecoming with the dedication of the field recently. The Colts honored founder and former Upper Providence Police Chief Bill Hampton.

The 90-year-old chief was on hand with his family and extended family and friends. The chiefs of police from both Upper Providence, Dave Montella and Media, Marty Wusinich, were on hand with some of their force to show support for Chief Hampton as well as the Colts organization.

It was a great day for the community at large and the chief was surprised right up until the announcement "Welcome to Chief Hampton Field."

The Rose Tree Colts would like to extend a hearty thanks to all the folks that came out for the beautiful fall afternoon.
