Rotarians Hold Fundraiser at Media Theatre with 'Mame' May 9
Each year Rotoplast International receives tickets from The Media Theatre to support its mission.

“Mame” will be providing new smiles this year to over 100 children. It’s all due to The Media Theatre’s partnership with local Rotary Clubs. With the generous support of The Media Theatre through ticket donations to Rotary, funds will be raised to support a medical mission to Cumana Venezuela. The fundraiser takes place Thursday May 9, with a reception and the evening’s performance of the classic musical starring Andrea McArdle.
The Rotary provides, via Rotoplast International, free corrective surgery to children who are born with cleft lips and palates. Rotarians volunteer time annually to support a Rotoplast mission. Rotoplast International was founded in 1992 and is a non-profit humanitarian organization.
For over a decade, local Rotary Clubs have supported this mission. The annual fundraisers at The Media Theatre have assisted in corrective surgery for over 1,000 children. If untreated, the children are prone to serious upper respiratory problems, hearing loss, and speech and dental issues.
