Brush Fire In Delco Closes Road For Several Hours Tuesday: Reports
A brush fire in Upper Providence Township Tuesday morning led emergency responders to close a portion of Route 1 for several hours.
UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — A brush fire in Delaware County forced a busy road to close Tuesday morning and afternoon.
According to the Delaware County Daily Times, the fire broke out at about 11 a.m. along the Route 1 bypass in Upper Providence.
As crews worked to tackle the fire, which spread to trees and residential sheds, Route 1 was closed to all traffic.
