Woman Dies After Being Run Over Outside Delco Hospital: Police
Pennsylvania State Police said the woman was getting out of the car and fell. The driver got out to help her, but the vehicle ran over her.
A woman died after being run over by a vehicle early Thursday morning outside a Delaware County hospital, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Police said the incident occurred at about 1 a.m. outside the emergency entrance of Riddle Hospital in Middletown Township.
The woman she was leaving a vehicle at the hospital and fell down, according to police.

The driver of that vehicle got out to help her, but the vehicle then ran over her.
Police said Riddle Hospital staff pronounced her dead shortly thereafter.

It's unclear at this time what caused the stopped vehicle to run over the woman, police said.
