Delco Councilman Receives Humanitarian Award

Delaware County Council Chairman Mario Civera Jr. recently was award a humanitarian award from Neumann University.
Civera was presented the award on April 1 at Neumann University’s 18th Annual Scholarship Gala at the Drexelbrook.

The Gala is held each year to raise funds for scholarships for students, the county said.
More than 90 percent of students entering Neumann have a financial need as identified by federal guidelines, and more than half of the student body consists of first-generation University students.
