Delco Offering Extended Hours For Marriage License Applications

The Delaware County Register of Wills office will be open mornings on two Saturdays each month in 2020, according to officials.

MEDIA, PA — In 2020, the Delaware County Register of Wills office will have extended hours for marriage license applications, according to officials.

The office be open two Saturdays per month from 9 a.m. to noon.

These extended hours began in August to make the process more convenient for couples to apply for marriage licenses.

"My office received positive feedback from couples who found the Saturday hours to be more convenient, so we are adding an additional Saturday per month in the hopes of making the process as easy as possible," said Register of Wills Mary J. Walk, Esquire. "Couples can also save time by starting the marriage license application online on the County’s website."

The new hours begin Saturday, Jan. 11.

The Saturday hours will be by appointment only.

Call (610)891-4400 to make an appointment.

No appointment is necessary for marriage license applications Monday-Friday. Marriage record services will not be available on Saturdays.
