Delco Officials Remind Residents Of Upcoming Voting Deadlines
See the last day to register for the May primary, deadlines for absentee ballot submissions, how to check registration status, and more.

MEDIA, PA – Officials in Delaware County are reminding area residents of some upcoming dates related to the primary elections on May 15.
The county council wants the public to know the last day to register to vote in the primary election is Monday, April 16.
Residents can register at the Voter Registration Commission located in the lobby of the Delaware County Government Center in Media. Regular office hours at the commission are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Voter registration forms are available at all municipal buildings, libraries and wine and spirit stores throughout the county.

The deadline for absentee ballot applications is 5 p.m. Tuesday, May and the deadline for civilians to return a voted absentee ballot is 5 p.m. Friday, May 11. Absentee ballot deadlines are not based on postmarks; the ballots must be physically present in the Election Bureau by 5 p.m. May 11.
To be eligible to vote, an American citizen must be 18 years old by Election Day. Citizens who turn 18 no later than May 15, 2018 are eligible, if registered in time, to vote.
