"In Delaware County, we have great schools and outstanding educators who not only provide valuable and quality education for our children, but also ensure their safety and well-being. As law enforcement, it is our goal to ensure learning can continue to happen in a safe and secure environment for both our children and our teachers," Copeland said. "By continuing the tradition of holding these summits for nearly two decades, we will bring together those who ultimately are the ones tasked with responding to crisis situations, so they can learn ways to protect themselves and their school community."

The Summit will include rotating breakout sessions throughout the day and begin with a keynote address from William M. McSwain, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
