Delco's Summer Music Series Kicks Off June 14
Don't miss local acts, tribute bands, and a Delco native who made her way to the national stage on NBC's "The Voice."

MEDIA, PA – The summer-long 43rd annual Delaware County Summer Festival is getting ready to dish out live tunes for the people of Delaware County and the full performance schedule is up for you to check out. The first concert ins the series will be held June 14 with a performance from the Delaware County Symphony.
Free concerts will be held every week, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, at Rose Tree Park in Media. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m., except for two 10 a.m. concerts for children on June 21 and June 30.
This season there are 45 scheduled concerts, which will feature tons of local acts, the best tribute bands from the east coast, and Delaware County's own Audra McLaughlin from NBC’s "The Voice" will headlines the June 29 show.

The final show will be held Aug. 14 and will be a tribute to blues legend Eric Clapton presented by The Core.
Other acts coming to the stage include The Fabulous Greece Band, The Rose Tree Pops, Jimmy and the Parrots, and The Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars.

Residents are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase during the concerts and picnics are welcome. Alcohol and pets are not permitted.
"Delaware County Council is once again thrilled to offer this free outdoor concert series for our residents this summer," said Councilman Dave White, Council’s liaison to the Department of Parks and Recreation. "The Summer Festival is a great way to enjoy a night with your family and friends in beautiful Rose Tree Park. It’s also a great way for us to support and enjoy many of our talented local performers."
This is the first time the Summer Festival is participating in Make Music Philly, with the June 21 performance of Peter Moses.
A full schedule of all 45 concerts is available online here. To make things convenient, the schedule includes links to the performers so you can preview what kind of music to expert at any given concert.
There are no rain dates in case of cancellations, the county said.
