MEDIA, PA — The primary election in Pennsylvania is Tuesday, May 16.

And with the election nearing, Patch is looking to help voters be better informed in the voting booth.

Below are important details voters need to know about the primary election in Media:

* Delaware County polling places have not been finalized for the May 16 election, according to county election officials. Check back closer to Election Day to confirm your polling place.

Who is on the ballot

Contests are in both the Democratic and Republican race for seats on the Rose Tree Media School Director race.

However, all candidates are cross filed as Democrats and Republicans.

Democratic and Republican voters will choose to vote for not more than five of the following candidates:

  • Dean W. Dreibelbis
  • Jackie Gusic
  • Hillary Fletcher
  • Patricia L. Bleasdale
  • Cameron L. Stevens
  • Kathryn Buckley
  • Loranne Ginsburg Mazzulo
  • Shelly Hunt
  • Karleen Krenicky
  • Michael Radcliffe

The Borough Council race is only contested on the Democratic side.

Voters will choose from three of the following candidates:

  • Terry Rumsey
  • Lisa Gelman
  • Jen Malkoun
  • Tray Herman
  • Paul Robinson
  • Dell Jackson

Other contested races are:

Justice of the Supreme Court (vote for one)

Democratic — Daniel McCaffrey, Debbie Kunselman
Republican — Patricia A. McCullough, Carolyn Carluccio

Judge of the Superior Court (vote for no more than two)

Democratic — Pat Dugan, Timika Lane, Jill Beck

Judge of the Commonwealth Court (vote for one)

Democratic — Matt Wolf, Bryan Neft
Republican — Josh Prince, Megan Martin

Judge of the Court of Common Pleas (vote for one)

Democratic — Dawn Getty Sutfin, Rachel Ezzell Berry
