2nd Saturday Arts Stroll

On the 2nd Saturday of every month, over 30 businesses on and around State Street in Media stay open late as part of a free arts event. From 6:00 to 9:00 pm, shops, galleries and cafes host local musicians or display the work of local artists. Visitors can stroll the friendly streets of Media and use M.A.C. 2nd Saturday map to find music, art and participating shops.

2nd Saturday creates opportunities for local artists and musicians to share their talents. The Media Arts Council regularly holds gallery openings and special events as a part of 2nd Saturday.

2nd Saturday is a fantastic event for a date, for the family, or to go out with friends! The Arts Stroll is free of charge but requires the continued support of our sponsors, participating businesses, and gracious donors to make it happen. Please contribute today to the Media Arts Council.

The Jersey Corn Pickers
At the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union

7:00-7:45pm

The Jersey Corn Pickers are a five piece Philly area band that plays original and traditional, high energy bluegrass and Americana music.  They are busy performing at clubs, coffee houses and festivals all over the northeast promoting their self-titled debut CD.  They won the 2011 band competition at the Lehigh Valley Bluegrass Festival and have been selected to compete in 2012 band contest at the IBMA Event of the Year winner Podunk Bluegrass Festival.  Their live shows are rowdy affairs that will put a smile on your face!
