Smith is an East Nashville singer-songwriter who has found cross-generational appeal by writing brand new music to centuries-old hymn texts. He is the founding member of the Indelible Grace community, whose work has gained popularity across denominational lines and is now used at churches in the U.S. and around the world. Born out of a college ministry, Smith’s reimagined hymns – which honor tradition with a modern musical approach - have found wide acceptance among college students and the church at large. His latest album, Watch The Rising Day, explores the tension of living in a broken world while awaiting Christ’s return and the restoration of all things.
