Ballet is a visual art and performance is an important part of our students' training. All students take part in a year-end recital staged in a professional theatre setting. These recitals are characterized by high-quality performances, a refined selection of music and beautiful costumes, many designed by Anastasia Babayeva. This spring recital is an annual event offering serious dancers the opportunity to perform before an attentive audience sensitive to the art of dance.

More than 55 dance students, ages 3-18, will participate in this year's program. From ballet and jazz to modern dance, this year's recital will showcase the boundless talents and creative energy of the school's many students.

In the words of Executive Director Josie Singer, "Although no one can guarantee that a student will become a professional dancer our academy's students develop a more focused understanding of beauty and a more beautiful soul. We wish to shape beautiful human beings. Beauty of the heart and mind creates beautiful character. When we teach people we touch their lives. When we do performances we touch people's hearts. We have a very special world here at the Academy of International Ballet and we love it" !

Performance time is 7:00 PM, on Friday June 1 in the beautiful  300 seat Meagher Theatre on the tranquil campus  of Neumann University, Aston, Pa. Tickets are available at the door. Admission is $20.00. Ample free parking is adjacent to the theatre.
