Fire Damages Row Homes In Delco

All 3 floors of a row home and an adjacent unit in the complex were damaged.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A row home caught fire Friday night in Middletown Township, officials said.

It happened around 10 p.m. on the 800 block of Whistle Lane. First responders found flames showing from the garage and smoke pushing out the front door, according to Middletown Fire Company No. 1.

Photos shared by Rocky Run Fire Company show damage to the garage and the second and third floors of the row home, which extended to an adjacent unit.

Crews placed the fire under control in about 20 minutes and remained on-scene for about two hours.

There was no immediate word on what caused the fire.
